In Anatevka in 1905, Tevye, the dairyman and his wife Golde look to a matchmaker
to provide good husbands for their daughters. Over time Tevye’s faith is challenged as his daughters choose to marry for love rather than tradition. This fast changing world proves a bittersweet challenge for Tevye and the villagers as they stand to lose everything – their homes, their beliefs, even their freedom…
